Burma

If you missed it, here’s a brief overview from our International Campus pastors.

Many members of our Myanmar congregation have family members at risk. We are asking our church to pray and to consider reaching out to your representatives to petition our government leaders to address this humanitarian crisis. Here are links to find who your representatives are and how you can contact them either through email or letter.

Below is the content you can send/use in your email/letter. Make sure you change what is in the brackets with the appropriate information:

Dear {Senator OR Representative} {Last Name}:

I am writing to ask that you petition both the state department and President Joseph Biden to intervene on behalf of the people of Myanmar. The duly elected political leaders of Myanmar are being held captive. Citizens are being shot with live ammunition and beaten in the streets and in their homes. The people of Myanmar have no voice, so it is imperative that we act now to help them. I trust I can rely on your support to address this humanitarian crisis. Thank you.

Sincerely,
