Redeemer Cup – June 21st & 22nd – Proctor Park

The Redeemer Cup is an annual international soccer tournament held in Utica, New York, that celebrates the city’s rich cultural diversity. Featuring 16 teams, each representing a different nationality, the event brings together players from Utica’s vibrant immigrant and refugee communities for a weekend of spirited competition and cultural exchange.

Founded by Redeemer Church, the tournament aims to foster unity and friendship among Utica’s diverse population. As Pastor Paul Schilling explains, “The idea is to bring the community together, not just the international people, but the American-born citizens to come and meet the new neighbors.”

The 2025 Redeemer Cup is scheduled for June 21–22 at Proctor Park in Utica.

Beyond the matches, the event serves as a community celebration, offering food, music, and activities that highlight the diverse cultures of the participants.

This event takes a massive team effort, and we rely on dozens of volunteers to make it all happen – from setup and hospitality to coaching, refereeing, and cleanup. If you’d like to be part of this incredible weekend, we’d love your help!
